Re: 2009 Philadelphia Regional
I can honestly say this is the most excited I have ever been for a competition. We had a pretty good showing in Jersey we just got to take it even further here in Philly. It seems like it will be a very competitive competition this year. The Elims this year should be even better then last years. Can't wait to see some old friends and meet some new people. See you all in 4 days.

Re: 2009 Philadelphia Regional
Does anyone know if the regional gives out parking passes for volunteers?

We've seen robots go from being on Fire one regional to being a dud in the next though. But maybe, just to get a leg up I should look into the teams going... |

Re: 2009 Philadelphia Regional
Parking at 15th and Cecil B Moore should be free for volunteers and the public as well.

Re: 2009 Philadelphia Regional
Also depending on where you are staying, SEPTA's regional rail service could be a viable alternative.

Re: 2009 Philadelphia Regional
Will anyone be webcasting/archiving mathces for TBA? Upset that NJ hasn't even been archived on TBA yet.

I second this notion, archiving would be fantastic.

Any places nearby that serve early breakfasts? We had an excellent sub shop near Boston's regional that had good, fast, and cheap breakfasts -- something you don't find too often. Also -- so many questions! -- we've got a couple hours Sunday morning before we have to drive back home. Any Philly sights to go to on a Sunday morning or is everything closed then? |

Lastly, both Pat's King of Steaks and Geno's Steaks in South Philly are open 24/7. Stop by for an authentic cheesesteak for Sunday brunch. |

Re: 2009 Philadelphia Regional
Jared nailed most of them. I'd definitely suggest Geno's (and Pat's, but mainly Geno's) as a must-visit for anyone coming to Philly. There's a number of good cheesesteak places, but none are like Geno's.
