Help connecting wireless bridge

I was trying to get the wireless bridge to work. I looked at the manual(chapter 5) and followed each step. I got the wireless router and such all set up but on just about the last step(pg. 15 step 11) where it ask you to test your connection, I typed in 10.9.96.1 and nothing came up. I then connected it back to the wireless router with the cable and I typed in 10.9.96.1 and it worked. I double checked all the settings (IP address and such) and they seem to be okay. It seems as though I cant get it to connect wirelessly although wired works fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Help connecting wireless bridge

Do the SSIDs for the wireless router and the WGA match perfectly? They should be your team number with no leading zeros.

Re: Help connecting wireless bridge

turn off all security (both the WGA and router, we forgot this at the begining of the season, and spend about 2 meeting trying to connect, and after a regional doing the same)

Re: Help connecting wireless bridge

Another possibility:
When you log on to your bridge, it will show you all available networks. Make sure your router is on there.

Otherwise, from what I read, the IP and stuff is set up right (check subnet mask?), but the wireless link isn't quite working. Perhaps check if they're both set up for the same band (5.4)?
