My first thought exactly. I was like "put some gloves and long sleeves on!"
But aside from that, the set-up looks nice. The holes in the table make it quite convenient to secure the work. Those modified vise grips are a clever idea that I've never seen before.

I like to hang out in our welding area during build season. Here in Rochester we don't see much of the sun during the long winters. I sometimes like to get a little "welders tan"
