Chairman's Entry Fee and Nationals

Does anyone know how much the entry fee is for Nationals for teams who win Chairman's? Many people on our team have heard that teams who win Chairman's do not have to pay the entry fee. Is this true? Thanks!

Re: Chairman's Entry Fee and Nationals

That would be nice. But unfortunately its not. You will have to pay the entry fee.

If you are not planning on bringing your robot to compete, and just doing the presentation, you may not have to pay. I know that team 34 did that last year.

Re: Chairman's Entry Fee and Nationals

There is no special Chairman's entry fee.

Let me be clear: ALL teams who attend the Championships have to pay $5000 USD registration. Whether this is paid by the team or a sponsor is up to the team and sponsor.
