Go to Post Last year we saved a ton of money by using a good bit of square tubing for the frame of our robot, square tubing is a lot cheaper then C channel. We get to use so much raw material that the cost should go down in certain places. - Derrick Maust [more]

TechnoKats Marketing CD available to Galileo teams

The TechnoKats of team 45 have made a marketing CD for the rest of the teams in Galileo.

The CD has this stuff on it:

1. Videos from 3 matches in Chicago (quicktime)
2. Still pictures of the robot
3. Our animation entry (very high quality & detailed)
4. Our gyro code for auto-balancing the bridge (yep... we're givin' it away!)

We only have 75 copies of this CD. If you are not in Galileo, but you want this CD, we will be making more in the future... but you can only get one at Nationals if you are in Galileo.

Our marketing crew, led by Brad Breedlove (also our operator), did a great job on this CD. Thanks, Brad!

See you in Florida!
Andy B.

The RedJammers of team 311 would like to see your CD and check out your capabilities!

We would also like to invite others in the Galileo Division to check out the new and improved EInstein on the RedJammers web-site at the link below.

We've been practicing with our sister 'bot for the last two weeks and are looking forward to working with the other teams in Galileo!!

Thanks to a great job by Nate Rhoades on our web site design and access to my company's Multiplexed CD Burner/Printer, we have 500 CDs to hand out in Florida - at least one for each team with some extras for friends, judges, etc.

If we do the CDs again next year, I'll try to coordinate with some of the DataBase folks out there and get that info on the disk. Things just came together a little too late this time.

Good Luck everyone. See you in a couple days.

P.J. Baker
Team #177

p.s. - Andy, I don't need to see your CD to know that I'm happy to be in the same division. Hope to see our 'bots on the field together.

Andy,
I wish my team was in Galileo, but I'd be interested in a cd if you have any extras. In case I don't have time to stop by your pit station I'd like to wish you guys luck.

btw, I really want to see you collect on your bet with Mr. Morrella, would it be ok if I tagged along for dinner :-)

See you guys in a couple days...

Since we only have a limited number of these CDs (I hear we have 88 now!), you can only get one from Brad or me.

We will be working the pits on Thursday, going from team-to-team in the Galileo pits.

Either Brad or myself will personally deliver one to the Robostang pit.

Andy B-
Drop a CD off at the SOAP Pit...we can load it in our server's CD rom drive, share the drive, then everyone of our Kiosks can view it...if you wish....also if you needed addt'l quicktimes from chicago regional, we can supply....typical movie is ~18MB

p.s. The bug preventing us from sharing publicly the chicago movies is known...we'll fix probably tomorrow.
They also are to be available on Thursday in EPCOT on at least one of our machines.....

gotta go,
KA - 108
