how did you make it? looks like a water sprinkler valve, but how was it triggered?

there is a hole in the top of the valve, and that is connected to an air nozzle like you would find on a shop air hose, and when you squeeze the trigger it lets a tiny amount of air out, creating low pressure on one side of the rubber seal, which makes the seal get pulled up, therefore letting all the air into the barrel.

Haha we were so glad they let us fire the cannon at GTR, when we were at the Wisconsin regional nothing was allowed to be thrown in the stands let alone fired out of a cannon at 40 psi! When we come to Atlanta we might bring our bigger three barrel cannons as well as the single fire cannon since the venue will be huge!

Yeah, I know 269 built a tshirt cannon last year and was firing it on Friday morning at Wisconsin but was told to get rid of it later. The reasoning was for the PVC air storage and how its not really pressure rated.

This may have been part of the issue. It sounds like they've totally banned all tshirt shooters now. Bummer. Between that and the free healthcare, I'm about ready to jump ship America!
