I will probably be coming around to all of the Archimedes teams' pits on Thursday morning. I hope to give everyone a "heads up" on our robot and what we do so it is easier to formulate strategies in the short time before a match. If the right combinations occur, I think our division can get the high score.

As for us - we plan to have both goals balanced at the end of every match. For the teams that are in Archimedes that aren't familiar with our robot, here is some scouting info:

All we do is handle goals. Our strength is that we balance two goals from the ground and get in the endzone. We have a bridge balance sensor so, unless the mechanism gets damaged, we always know when the bridge is balanced before backing away. We balance in one attempt, quite quickly. Once the goals are lined up, we all but guarantee that they are balanced at the end of the match. A photo of us balancing at a competition is shown below.

As a side note, we finally got a good amount of driving practice in after Great Lakes. We made our process even quicker than it used to be. Also, in practice we balanced on the first attempt 25 straight times without dumping the goals. With this in mind, it is our goal to have the goals balanced in every match.

Good luck, everyone!

-Chris
