Re: Great Human Player in 2009
16 and 1388 have some very dangerous human shooters. If you're in range, look out!

Re: Great Human Player in 2009
Our Human Player on 1351 was able to get 2 out of 3 super cells in, but in 3 different matches.

Re: Great Human Player in 2009
Team 1013 has an absolutely wonderful human player. In qualifications all the way up through finals when 1013 was aligned with us, almost every single ball she threw landed either in a hopper or a trailer; exactly where she intended them to land. What makes her especially dangerous is her ability to seamlessly play both the outpost and corner positions with no apparent change in accuracy.
Watch out for her in Atlanta! |

The best I've seen though is from 2090 this past weekend in Hawaii. When you can consistently win matches, even in eliminations when the supercell is the difference, that is epic. |

Re: Great Human Player in 2009
Yes, the outpost player for 1013 has my vote, too. Check out the finals on the Blue Alliance site for Vegas. She shot left-handed, right-handed, both handed, on the fly, and was incredibly disciplined in her target selections. She was amazing.

Re: Great Human Player in 2009
I do not know his name, but the Human player from Team 115 was really good. He helped the team a lot in eliminations at the Davis regional.

Re: Great Human Player in 2009
Ah yes, Sriram was really on fire on Saturday at Davis, he shot with really good accuracy, so good that other teams complimented him when they talked to us. On that day alone he scored 3 super cells. 2 of those were scored in the quarterfinals, you could just about say that he's the reason why we got past the quarterfinals. All empty cells were sent to him, and during the eliminations, all of our robots would attempt to lure the opposing alliance near him and trap them at the end just for him to try to score a super cell.

Re: Great Human Player in 2009
The Payload Specialist on 1241 was very very dynamic.
He would jump over the shield and shoot downward on the goals to get the balls in before the robots could get away. Teams started staying good and far away from him after a while. The Payload specialist for 103, Shauna from 1511 and 188 also stick out as well as Antione for my team who got alot of compliments not only for his skill but for his smart penalty free play. |

Re: Great Human Player in 2009
It's hard to tell over the internet, so of the 3 regionals I attended, I found 177's human player to be the best I've seen so far.

Re: Great Human Player in 2009
Ben from 340 was insane with super cells at FLR. Much of our elimination strategy depended on them, and he didn't disappoint.
