Research Collaboration?

Hi,

I'm on the FLL team at Iolani School, which is in Honolulu, HI. We won our state tournament and now are going to the US Nationals in Dayton, Ohio. Our research project is about water displacement, and how other places are handling it with ways such as using chemicals to make the water potable again. We would like to contact more people in the world who have these kinds of systems in place, or pick a similar research project for their FLL season. Any help would be very much appreciated.
