Not to rain on anyone's parade, but I concur with Jack.
We in Michigan are already under scrutiny for how we are doing things different and how we are already making our events less "formal" and our own way. The Michigan State Championship event is being run in a traditional FIRST regional format and adding "fun" things like this just might be seen as another thing making us different from other events. While I would actually love to see this dream match (or even be a part of it), I think we have enough off season events in MI where we can do whatever we want at and would rather we left the MSC to FIRST... Plus, if they really wanted to see this, they would have carried the rankings into the event and used the rankings to set up the qualification rounds... Just my humble opinion...
