Re: Spotlight Question

If you look at the top where the spotlit quote is, you will see 'more' to the right of the username. If you click on that, it will take you to the list of spotlights. Go there and look. On the left is the quote. On the right are two columns for the quote - one is the 'username' and one is the 'added by'. If you click on those, it will order them under the 'username' and under the 'added by' - you can do a quick tally unless it is someone like dlavery - then it could take a little while.

Also, bear in mind that when you suggest a spotlight for a quote, it goes to the place that spotlight moderators can see and decide whether to accept/spotlight the quote or not. For every quote that I submit for spotlighting that is accepted, there is at least one that is not accepted. It can be frustrating but I also understand that there has to be a system in place. I have also had accepted spotlights later removed when the moderators do some 'cleaning' during the slow times.

Edit: The list is also how I do searches for the quotes or authors. If I have a little bit of time during lunch or if I'm feeling a little blue/sad I search through some of my favorites and the quotes will take me to the entire post. Some favorites are posts written by Travis Hoffman, Jaine Perotti, and Dave Lavery. All three of these authors have wisdom to share that leaves me wanting to learn more in order to understand more. Their writing styles are a joy to read and to study.
