Re: Curie 2009!
I will go through and check. At first glance several of the winners were indeed the later picks, but this of course doesn't mean that they didn't contribute to their alliance.

Re: Curie 2009!
Oh of course, in this game more than ever, the third robot is extremely important. And if you can survive through the finals, you did something right. It's just interesting to know.

Re: Curie 2009!
Skunkworks is looking forward to a great competition in Atlanta!!
Curie is the place to be!! We anticipate making a bunch of new friends from all over FIRST!!! If anyone is compiling the information regarding the regional winners We were the #1 pick by the #1 Alliance captain in both Portland and Seattle. Thanks to 1318 and 2635 we were able to be part of the Oregon winning Alliance. See you all in about a week!! I can't believe it!!! |

So a total of 15 of our 39 wins were as a second round pick (38.5%). Consider that, naturally, 33% of all regional winners are second round picks .Also note that only 395 and 1893 won on anything but one of the top 4 alliances. Re: Curie 2009!
This should be a very competitive field to be on. Glad to see we are with some of the teams I was hoping to be in a Division with because they seem cool and have some skill.
