Building a Subversion Server

If you are interested in building a Subversion server I will be leading a session at the 2009 FIRST Robotics Conference in Atlanta on Thursday during the 5:00 – 5:45 time slot in room GWCC C205.

You will learn what is required to build, install and use a code repository version control system called Subversion. You will get lots of details, several examples, and a list of resources for more information.

If you are not using a version control system for your robot code, this workshop will expose you to a tool that will help you move your programming team to the next level.

If you are currently using Subversion and have it hosted by an outside source this session will give you the information to take control and host it yourself.

Subversion allows several programmers to work on common code without the pains associated with moving and sharing files on a memory stick or other sharable media.

I will do my best to make this session worth your while. Check out this link for more information.

If you can not attend the session in Atlanta, the presentation will be available for download later, but it would be more fun to meet you in person.

Hope to see you in Atlanta.

I'm more than interested but I'll be working up in MI. A link to the download would be greatly appreciated.
