They have a lot of engineering courses. ME, EE, CE, Aeronautical Engineering, Space Engineering (forgot formal term) for those interested in working on projects for the space program, and I *think* there is Chemical Engineering, but I'm not sure.

Your best bet would be to go to your guidance office and go to the wall full of the recruitment materials, there might be a course book for the United States Air Force Academy.

Courtney,

I went to USAFA (class of '93). I majored in Aernautical Engineering. USAFA has one of the best AE programs in the Country (that's why I went). The one major distinction between USAFA and other universities is that they break up Aerospace engineering into two majors: Aernautical and Astrospace. The Astro degree focuses entirely on space travel, satellites, etc; while the Aero degree focuses entirely on aircraft design, engineering, etc.
USAFA also has excellent Civil, Electrical, Chemical and Computer Science engineering programs; but the Aero and Astro degrees are definitely the flagship degree programs. When I attended, they were not yet accredited in ME, but I know they have the ME program now.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

-Paul
