Go to Post week 7: check to see if the pets are still alive, ask significant others to take us back, do 6 weeks worth of make-up homework, and ask my boss for another extension. - Tim Baird [more]

"To the Moon: Ohio's Journey" HD Broadcast

http://www.wkyc.com/life/programming...bz5lc+9sZ88%3D

I didn't get a chance to watch this last night (it was on locally at 8:00 PM on WKYC Channel 3 in Cleveland - many morons were apparently upset that it preempted "Chuck" - to those morons, I say "To the Moon, Alice!"...), but a coworker told me about it. It appears they posted much of the vid online at the above link. The 1-hour show was produced in partnership with NASA Glenn Research Center and hosted by NBC News anchor Brian Williams and local anchor Romona Robinson. The HD show chronicles Ohio's contributions to our space program, both past and current. With John Glenn, Neil Armstrong, and others in da house, it looks to be a very interesting watch.

If you look at the clip list, there is even a short segment on the FIRST Buckeye Regional. Lots of familiar robots and faces appear.

Pretty neat stuff - check it out!
