Thank you 1507, 177 & NEWTON division!

Thank you to 1507 for selecting us! You folks were great to work with right from the start. Thank you for allowing us to suggest 177 as a second pick even though they were not next on your list. Teamwork is a huge part of winning and 177 brought a calm veteran presence to our alliance!

Also great job to the winning alliance of 111, 67 and 971. Although I only got to see you for a few matches on Einstein, I thought 111 had the best performance of any robot I have seen so far this year.

236, the Chairmans wiining team is amazing and does a great job year after year.

And thank you and great job to countless other teams and individuals who helped make the Atlanta experience great for those around you!

Re: Thank you 1507, 177 & NEWTON division!

I'd just like to echo what Rob said... thanks to 1507 for being a great alliance captain... you really turned it up a notch in the elims, and always did what we needed to win the match. Thanks also to 177 for showing us firsthand how great strategy is the surest path to Einstein.

Congrats also to 111, 67, and 971... you guys had a heck of an alliance, and we're glad we got a chance to give you a run for your money on the big stage!

Re: Thank you 1507, 177 & NEWTON division!

I had so much fun competing on Newton this year, representing Newton on Einstein with 177 Bobcats and 1507 Warlocks was the most exciting thing that I have ever done.

We couldn't have made it as far as we did without the combined efforts of everyone on our alliance, and I think team 177 Bobcats deserve recognition of their strategies, which were brilliant.

Congrats to everyone, I had an awesome time

Re: Thank you 1507, 177 & NEWTON division!

THANK-YOU 1507 and 121!!!!!!

Thank-you for noticing us and how we were playing all weekend. We appreciated the opportunity to work with both of you on our alliance.

121, you guys know we thought you and your robot were the top of the class for this season. From the first time we saw your 4 motor robot with a superfast pick-up and dump we saw at BAE we knew you had the game down. Then you went ahead and improved the robot between regionals to make it better even though you won a regional, because you knew it could be better. It was a pleasure to win a division with a team like you and I hope we can compete together in the future. Thank-you for suggesting our team to 1507 as the third member of your alliance.

1507 thank-you for asking us to join your allaince. This was my first experience working with your team, even though you worked with 2 of our other mentor when they were on 229, and I hope it won't be the last. The way your team handled the supercells, defense and then when everyone forgot you had those balls in your hopper made that game changing last moment dump every round was incredible. Thanks again for picking us.

I felt like everyone on our alliance worked well together to make a truely strong allaiince without a week link, which seems to be the key to the 3 team alliance era of FRC.

121 see you at BattleCry.

1507 I hope to see you soon as well.
BTW several of us from 177 go to Lockport frequently for work and I didn't pick-up on where you from until Monday for some reason.

Thanks again,
Pete

I would also like to send out a thank you to teams 1507 and 121. Both teams are world class and it was great to make it to Einstein with you. I can't wait to see what you guys do next year, and I look forward to working with you again.

Re: Thank you 1507, 177 & NEWTON division!

1507, 121, and 177 were three of the most dangerous robots on Newton. Every time we had a match against you guys were definitely on the look out for any one of you that could change the match in a hurry. Great job representing the Newton field on Einstein, and good luck next year.

Re: Thank you 1507, 177 & NEWTON division!

Thanks to the Warlocks, Rhode Warriors and Bobcats for representing Newton and some exciting matches.

When I saw your #5 alliance form I knew we were in for an uphill battle in the QF. Thanks to 2771 and 1726 for a great effort. I was rooting for our good friends on 1507, 121 and 177 from the QF on.

Also thanks to 1507 and 135 for the win in the last qualifier of Friday, it was a good to go out on a win after a tough Friday.

Re: Thank you 1507, 177 & NEWTON division!

I know I am a little late, but that's what happens when you leave work for 4 days and deadlines don't move.

I want to thank both 1507 and 121 for inviting us to work with them and make another Einstein run. As our MC said during the eliminations "It only takes 6 wins to get to Einstein". Thanks to the rest of the tough competitors as those were 6 tough wins.

1507- Thank you for going out on a limb and picking us. You guys had a great machine which snuck in those 7 balls at the end of each match to put us over the edge. You guys played some great defense and had amazing empty cell autonomous capabilities. As someone who watched most of the qual matches, you guys had a solid machine which peaked exactly where you needed it to, in the Eliminations round.

121 - Thanks for believing in us. You guys are great! Your machine was outstanding from the first match I saw it in at BAE. After Hartford all of us on 177 had our $$ on you going to Einstein this year. Once we saw you were in our division, we though, well this is easy, all we have to do is convince them to pick us. As simple as it was you guys never stopped improving that robot and it paid off. I would say you were one of the Top 3 un-defendable robots this year. I hope we get to pair up in the future some time.

I want to thank the kids on 177 for a great year. This was one of the least stressful and most fun seasons, and it was because all of you were so good at what you did and had fun doing it.

I also want to thank Jesse (from 177). For those of you that don't know Jesse,...well you should. Of all the people I have met that "know strategy", or are "strategy kings"...most of them have nothing on Jesse. He would never proclaim this, so I am going to for him. His ability and patience to get an alliance on the same page of a match winning stragety is second only to his ability to work with kids in the shop and doing driver training. Jesse, you took this great year to outstanding, and the rest of us on the Bobcats thank you for that.

Last, but not least, I want to congratulate this year's champions 111, 67, and 971. You have amazing robots and amazing teams.

-Eric
