Matt, yeah I know about the RIT connection. I was doing some research on my own about teams a few months ago about teams that started up during the first 4 or 5 years of the competition, when i saw that edison tech was a sponser and that Harris had been a part too. Thanks for the follow up.

: Deej, you've got it partially right. 1996 was the

first year RIT was involved with FIRST. However it was the 4th year for Edison Tech (the high school) and the second year for Harris/RF (the sponsor).
