[FTC]: TBA for FTC?

I think there should be a scouting site similar to TBA for FTC.

There has been discussion of make something like this that would be referred to as The Red Alliance. However, nothing has become of it yet.

then why don't you make it? TBA is not an official FIRST site and was written and maintained by members of the FIRST community. If you would like a tool like this for FTC then take the initiative and build it.

Side commentary: Too many times reciently I have seen people (myself included from time to time) that just expect things to happen or be given to them, forgetting about the hard work that others put into the tools that we use. While the internet has created a culture where this seems very common place, sometimes if you want something bad enough then you should get off your butt and make it happen.

I completely agree. It's very common in the world(more specificly the US)

Re: [FTC]: TBA for FTC?

Does First have information on their website for FTC similar to the way they do for FRC? Such as team information, match results, event information?

I did a quick search and didn't see something similar

Re: [FTC]: TBA for FTC?

Actually, I have been looking into making one. I don't know how, but given my fast learning skills and my already gained knowledge of web developement, I could potentially make it.

Re: [FTC]: TBA for FTC?

I am not sure if FTC is organized enough to pull something together. I'm not sure if every match score is recorded somewhere and video would definitely be tough to pull together.

But, as far as a FTC focused website is concerned, The Robotics Universe has been under construction for roughly 1 year now. Ever since FTC announced switching to a new kit, The Robotics Universe was launched and we even included an FTC forum with many features such as helpful documents, videos, etc. etc. Whether it'll be modeled similar to the blue alliance is doubtful, but very probable.

The Robotics Universe is currently under going TOTAL remodeling. That is, totally being stripped down and re-coded, but considering there is only one person working on it at the moment, it's becoming harder and harder to see the website coming to life in the near future.

If you're willing to help, please send basicxman an email. I'm sure he'd appreciate any help.
