"As our 2008 season draws to a close, we just wanted to send a huge thank you to our teams, mentors, coaches, and volunteers for making this our best season ever. We could not have had the success we did without your dedication and trust. FTC is lucky to have the best teams in FIRST and we owe our success to you! Now it's time to begin the 2009 season and make it even bigger and better than 2008. We have just a few items for this week’s blast, but they’re important, so PLEASE PAY ATTENTION.

The FTC staff wants to send a huge thank you everyone that attended the FTC World Championship in Atlanta. We had our most successful and exciting World Championship to date and much of that came from the help and cooperation of teams. It will be difficult to top it next year, but we’re working on it!

*2009 FTC Season Registration *

The 2009 season of FTC will begin on Monday, May 4, 2009. Please follow these steps:

- Go to our registration web site: https://my.usfirst.org/ftc/tims
- If you are a returning team, log in and select the team you would like to register.
- If you are a new team, follow the instructions to create a login.
o A login and password will be emailed to you
o Use login and password to access registration site
o Create a new team
- Complete all the required fields. /Hint: required fields have an X next to them/.
- When the required fields are completed, follow the “Program Fee” link to complete your registration. /Hint: the “Program Fee” link is near the bottom of the page. /

I'll definitely be following them on twitter. Personally, I kinda wish the GDC would launch the game a little bit earlier than September. Maybe half way through the summer. .
