As somebody who's worked as scoring since '98 on the WMRC(west michigan robotics competition), I can tell you this...the majority of the people who worked on planning that event worked this year on getting the regional up and running in Grand Rapids, so as of when I last talked to them(March,) they didn't really have it in them to organize another event so soon(I know, it doesn't seem close to the regional, but you'd be surprised how early these things start getting planned)...So, as far as I know, there will not be a WMRC this year...if there's enough support locally in the future to do it AND the regional, it may come back, but I make no guarantees...

: What happened to the west michigan invitational? I'm assuming it was discontinued because of the regional this year, but I know we're going to miss it if it's really gone. Let me know what's going on, everyone here wants to know. Thanks.
