If you don't believe me, tell a worker you heard that 20 jobs were getting lost and you think its coming out of the welders. I guarantee the welders will hear it, and start to speculate which ones. They will begin to prepare for it. I am not saying gossip and rumors are good. I'm just saying that they are normal. I have never really referred a sponsor to delphi, and I don't think I ever will. However, if they would seriously consider such a thing in deciding to sponsor...I'd rather they not sponsor me.

Just because they can related doesn't mean they like it or think it is good. I can relate to someone who sleeps in and skips all thier classes. That doesn't mean I approve of their decisions and would want to work with them on a class project.

I also think the additude of "Well, it happens in the real world, thus it must be fine in FIRST" is a very dangerous path. Aren't we trying to change the culture?
