seriously...and its especially ironic that we go to a jesuit high school and the faculty still puts 'mindless fighting and hitting' ahead of educational stuff like robotics...

: Yeah, it sux. I can't believe that something so in tune with the learning process isn't even considered a real sport. Of corse mindless fightning and hitting is glorified, even by the very faculty who does the teaching. We had a hard time getting days off for Florida. Rugby didn't seem to have difficulty going to Texas, and that was school funded. We don't get a pep rally, we get ignored. We don't get nice team shirts from our school, we get ignored. We don't get a P.A. announcement or high fives when we come back from a competition, we get ignoreed. I don't think we should be considered a school sport because we're better then that.
