WIRELESS INTERNET CONNECTION SENDS COUPLE TO

MIDDLE OF THEIR STREET



(PENETANGUISHENE, ON.) – This morning, officers from the Southern Georgian Bay OPP responded to a unique call for service in the Town of Penetanguishene.



Police received a call from a concerned citizen shortly after 1:00AM, about a couple who had taken up a position in the middle of McGuire Rd. The female was sitting in a chair with a laptop computer and there was a gentleman standing behind her.



Upon the arrival of police, it was learned that the female was testing out her new wireless internet connection. After speaking with the responding officers who explained the dangers of this, the couple moved from the road and went back into their home.
