Rambots.... to be run by high school students only??

Engineer on team #419, RAMBOTS, from Boston College High School and Don't think we actually have a sponsor.



Well everyone have heard that Anton and the college people have left the team. Well since we don't have any college people to fix our robot and build one for next year, we high school students will now have to take charge. So are the high school students ready to take over???

We certainly are!!! Well aleast some of us are. We are going to BattleCry without any College people. The pit crew we basically consist of Mike Corliss, Mike Oleary, me, and Bill because we have been there almost 7 days a week for those 6 crazy weeks.

Since all the tools are mostly gone since they belonged to the college people, what tools do you think we will need 2 bring with us?? So whatever help that you can give us, we will appreciate all your help. So if you have extra time when you are at BattleCry, we would love to get any help that we could get.

Of course T190 will be at Battlecry.. and while many team members will be on-staff for the event, there are just about a dozen of us college & high schoolers that will be working our robot and pit during the event.. so don't be afraid to come on over if you need a hand with anything or to borrow and tool and some advice, we'll be happy to help you, as I'm sure most of the other teams will be as well.

thanks...and we definately dont plan on falling apart anytime soon...me jeff wong mike corliss andrew kostkas and some others, as well as anyone who is with us, definatly plan to do whatever it takes to hold it together: weve even talked about driving to someones house after school and building the bot in his basement, if it comes to that...

scary but true...the warped minds of me, jeff, and corliss being 75% of our 'engineers' boggles my mind...i cant wait to start working itll be so much fun
engineer mike, who always wanted to be an engineer when he was growing up...you know...like the ones on the trains...
(we thought it was bad this year when our 'engineers' were cs majors...)
