Great post from the past

I know there are a ton of excellent posts from years ago, that somebody has stumbled acrossed. This thread is for those people to revive individual posts worth reading today. This is not for thread revival or to restart old debates. It is for just the opposite in fact. This thread is to revive old thoughts without cluttering up CD.

Below is the post that gave me the idea.

Anyone else find a gem of the past?

Re: Great post from the past

I have, over the last couple months, started compiling a list of important threads (most found through spotlight or random searchings of mine) it is available at http://delicious.com/schreiaj/CD . They are mostly threads but there may be a few single posts there too. Hope these will be well received. The point isn't to revive them but to review them. Many of these threads have been very helpful in my forming views on many broad aspects of FIRST. Obviously some of them are more technical too, threads that helped me learn how to do specific things I may not have learned otherwise. This list is always growing as I find threads and posts.

Re: Great post from the past

Thank you for starting this thread, Jason. It has a lot of potential for showcasing posts made by many of our CD members that are current and many that have moved on or who post rarely now. Wisdom, thoughtfully written posts, and knowledge shared with humor and generosity, are timeless and grow in value.

I found this one very recently and was thrilled to read it and absorb the thoughts and wisdom shared by its author, Tom Bottiglieri.
