Old forums archived...

I have finally got around to importing the old (1999-2001) forums into the new vBulletin system. Ken Leung, David Kelly and myself tried to do it manually, and after 2 days, and 50some threads later we got lazy and forgot about it. So, it took six months, but I finally wrote an import script, and imported all 21214 posts (2432 threads) in about 3 minutes.

Tomorrow evening, or possibly later on in this week, I will be making the archives public. I'm waiting a little bit so that everyone doesn't have 2432 threads in their 'new posts' list.

This freed up about 150 megs of space on our server, and made it a little more convenient to search the older archives. They will now show up with all your forum searches on this new system.

The threads will be closed, but you can always refer back to them when needed.
