This really is turning into a Krispy Kreme Kult. Well, as tempting as they look, I'm not convinced it's worth giving up my freedom for.

What do they mean, "make her an honest woman"? Do they really think a band of gold will make me tell the truth?

I have found nirvana!

While in southern California last week, a few freinds and I decided to catch a Dodgers game (vs. Toronto). There we were, relaxing in our Section 52 seats, just off the first base line, midway through the second inning. It was a beautiful Wednesday evening, perfect weather, and not a cloud in the sky. Vendors were walking up and down the aisles, trying to sell hot dogs, cold beer, soda, Cracker Jack, pizza, Krispy Kremes,...

Wait a minute. Krispy Kremes? At the ball park?

Yup. That's right. Dodger Stadium has vendors that will bring packages of four Krispy Kremes right to your seat!!! You can relax and enjoy a game, and when the urge for yeast-risen sugar-dipped fried delicacies becomes overwhelming, you don't even have to get up! (OK, I admit, some of us have eaten so many Krispy Kremes that we CAN'T get up). And you don't have to go through that whole wedding deal just to get the Krispy Kremes!

I now love Dodger Stadium.

-dave

p.s. the Dodgers won. Just like the Orioles trounced the Yankees for the second night in a row last night.
