Running Multiple Robots Using FMS Light...
We are trying to run multiple robots at once using the FMS light app and 1 router.
Seems pretty straight forward.... The problem is this, we have our wireless N router set to 10.16.25.4 as per the control system manual. The Wireless bridge on the robot is 10.16.25.1 and the CRio 10.16.25.2 the laptop that is running FMS is 10.16.25.6 If we just want to run our 1 robot using those settings FMS detects the DS and the Robot and runs just fine. If we then go to hook up another CRio/DS into the network let just say 10.16.26.x (as if 1626 was also running their bot) FMS will not detect the DS or the CRio. If we change the router settings to match the second bot (10.16.26.x) it will work with that bot but will not detect the 10.16.25.x robot. I have tried 2 different computers and the same problem on both... Has anyone had any similar problems when trying to run multiple bots with FMS Light? Anyone have any ideas as to why it will not run multiple bots at once? I'm hoping its just something simple in the settings i overlooked like some IP not set correctly but ill take any help i can get. Thanks! ![]() |
