Re: Twitter to follow teams.
Our team is currently in transition, so its using our old number. I'll change it to the standard once we start the new team.

Re: Twitter to follow teams.
Team Robokong is on twitter at
www.twitter.com/frc2493 www.twitter.com/robokong2493 And of course last year we developed Regional Twitter Accounts to help team follow match scores, standings and awards at selected regionals. And we have more ideas we plan to implement for next year. Check out the details at http://www.robokong2493.com/twitter_accounts.html |

Re: Twitter to follow teams.
GAH.
I wish I had known about this a few weeks ago. I can't really say why due to some stuffs happening right now, but it certainly would've made my summer more interesting. Although I have to say I still think twitter is worthless (unless its for FIRST - this might actually give it some purpose.) |

Re: Twitter to follow teams.
Oh I have to agree that Twitter is pretty worthless most of the time. I think if people use it smartly, it can be fun. At Atlanta and at IRI, I twittered match results and some "behind the scenes" issues during our matches. The people following the webcast or NASA TV, had a fun time getting the extra information. Also we traveled cross country this year to IRI and had about 90 people following what we were doing. I think twitter has it's place, but I do not want to know what you had for dinner and your Aunt Gertrude has hemorrhoids today.
