Kamen's LED Island - Cover Story
Kamen's island is showcased in the IEEE Spectrum magazine (08/09 issue). Its an interesting discussion about LED technology & living off the grid.

Kamen also mentions FIRST briefly,

I swear that guy's crazy. But he's amazing. And a great speaker, we got to sit in on his presentation at NI Week this year.

The real question is, when are they replacing the batteries in the KOP with a bucket of photoelectric paint?
