Good point. Do you really want to make the closing ceremonies longer?? It also adds to the number of judges needed (which adds some costs as well - shirts, food, etc.) Particularly at Atlanta, it is hard to judge so many teams in little time - I don't know this from personal experience, but Jane can tell you all about it!
