RFP for funding to be used for field trips

as a first year team last year we had a very hard time getting to all of our competitions so this should help solve that problem

Isn't February a bit late to be awarding the grants, thats like two thirds of the way through the [edit]school[/edit] year?

edit: I am talking for trips outside of FIRST and VRC, I am not sure how getting money in February is effective for most people.

not for the ftc or vex teams it helps not to mention if a team makes it to atlanta that can be beneficial as well

I'd like to think that "getting money" is "effective" for ALL people, regardless of when it is received.
