Hi, I'm Renee Becker, I was captain of Team 1675 The Ultimate Protection Squad from Milwaukee, Wi for the past four years and I'm now attending College at the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities. I'm looking for any FIRST Alumni that attend the University and would be interested in starting a Student Support Organization for teams in the area with me. The ultimate goal would be to help as many teams as possible that are in the area with engineering, reaching out to the community, chairmans, graphic design, programming, and design.

If you know someone who was in FIRST and attends school at the U of M please pass on this information.

I'm not a FIRST Alumni (Highschool Junior) though I do attend the U for 11 credits (PSEO Program).

As a Gopher alum, I am glad to see someone has interest. I would talk to Ken Rosen or Mark Lawrence about teams and people they know. I personally know of a few folks from the Edina team (1816) at the U of MN. I can check with them to see if I can give you their contact info (or have them get on here).

Sadly all of the alumni from my team has gone to other colleges throughout MN, but I think it is a great thing what you are doing! Good luck! (Maybe I will be at the UofM next year?)

Thank you for all the reply's! A few Alumni and I are planning on putting together a meeting in the beginning of October. Once we get the details figured out I'll post here again, but if any Minnesota teams have alumni please pass on this information!
