well i don't have a real job but i do get to babysit in the summer for these really cute kids they are: 4,7 and 9. Then during the school year, i reff the U-9G, and U-10G soccer games, which isn't all that bad all i have to do is run up and down the field and make a few calls when the ball goes out.... reallly really easy(but don't tell my boss that i said that, i don't want to have to reff the older kids cuz thats really hard

Yeah, I've been an engineer for the past two years. I work at a grocery stored called Meijer, which is really big out in the midwest. I'm a Mobile Shopping Recepticle Relocation Engineer. Alright fine, I push carts around for 7.85 and hour. But in two months I can get cashier training

Well.....during the last two school years and summers I worked at my school as a network technician. Pay sucks but it was really easy.
The cool thing though is that on Monday (6.8.02) I start at Bose Corporation. That's right. Wave radios, Cadillacs and Benzs. Little plug here: Check out kettering university if you are serious about engineering. The only school I know of where you can start your co-op job before you actually go to school at all..

I have two jobs this summer. I still work at a library which I have done for almost 5 years now. I'm a computer assistant. Plus I have a full time internship at Symbol Technologies (they're the people that make barcode scanners). I'm in the ME dept and what I pretty much do is design stuff, put them together, break them...ermm...I mean, "test" them, then take 'em apart to see what I broke. I must've broke over $20,000 worth of stuff already. Teehee. Plus, we're already starting to plan the 2003 LI Regiona, which feels like a 3rd job sometimes. But I like it.

This September will be the beginning of my fifth year at the Victorian Guest House a bed and breakfast. Pay sucks, but I can do my own thing like homework while I am waiting for people to check in or waiting for a load of laundry to get done. The food is great that is left over from breakfast, and the TV is my friend during the down season.

My Job

Well, I work at this camp, it is open all year, but in the winter it is only open on weekends, and during the summer, we have people there all the time. I work in the kitchen preparing food for the people. This is a Jewish camp, where jewish people come to have their retreats. It is cool to learn about Jewish things, cuz I am not Jewish, actually none of the kitchen staff are Jewish. We all watch them do their singing and dancing and stuff like that. The good parts of my job are we get to eat any food we like, and there are sometimes when we can just chill out cuz there is nothing to do. The bad parts of my job are we have to clean all the rooms, sweep and everything. We have to do dishes. Also we have to put up with crabby people. They come up to the kitchen and ask us for stuff they are not supposed to have. And then when you tell them that they can't have it, they get all crabby on you. Another bad part is that you get hit on a lot by these people. It wouldn't be so bad, but they come up to you and say the gayest things, and it gets really annoying. Oh, another thing is that, some of these people speak Hebrew, and they speak it in front of you and you constantly feel like they are talking about you. Not only that, but some people don't know english very well, and sometimes you can't understand them. Oh well, it is ok. Oh another bad thing is that during the summer, the floor gets so slippery. Especially in the dish room. Ugh, I was in the dish room last night, and I was trying to be careful not to fall, well I guess i was not careful enough, and I slipped and fell right on my butt, and it hurt, and on the way down I smashed my hand on this spikey thing that was on the floor. So...this girl that was in the dish room with me told me to go sit down. So i was a little embarrassed. Not fun. Well my hand did end up swelling up a little bit, but it is ok now, just a little bruised. But other than that, it is a good job. Well there is another thing, but I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing. My boss knows my whole family, on my dads side, because my grandma used to work for him. So...that is really interesting. Oh well, it sucks but it is money, which is something we all need...so I will stick with it.

Katelyn

My job

Two weeks ago i started to work at the local Wal-Mart. I work as a cashier and it really sucks because I get paid $7.00 for scanning bread for old MEAN people. So I've worked there for 2 weeks now and I already want a new job. I think I'd rather drive down to Kokomo every day to work at the new Best Buy than work at Wal-Mart. NEVER WORK THERE THEY MAKE YOU CHEER. Give me a W... W!!! Give me an A... A!!! yeah you get the picture.
