Re: Kit of Parts Conversion Help

Help part one: A better place to ask would probably be in the Inventor subforum, located at http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=57 due to exposure and expertise hanging out there.

Help part two: You'd have to convert it to a different file type, then open that with Inventor 2008. My memory is fuzzy, but iges or step would probably work. As you've probably discovered, Inventor 2008 (or previous) doesn't exactly like Inventor 2009 files, and this holds true on up the line. So you go to a "neutral" file type and then to Inventor [insert version here] or Solidworks [insert version here] or another CAD program of your choice.

Hi Ziki,

Go to www.3DContentCentral.com. Search for 2009kop, FRC

You will find most of the parts from the kit. Select the 3D Cad format, such as Inventor and then select the year, such as 2008.

Regards,

Marie
