[OCCRA]: using Dewalt motors w/o transmission
Are we allowed to use the Dewalt motors with out the Dewalt transmission?

Answer:
A reminder that precision machining is not allowed. Taking the Dewalt unit apart and using the motor alone would be a disaster without special equipment to remove the spur gear. Additionally there is no gear that can be pressed on to the motor shaft without precision machining. Answer is NO. If you give us additional information on the HOW and the WHY we may re-consider. |
