If we need to make a cut somewhere, we typically have cut number of alliances and kept the alliance count to three teams. All this means is less finals time which either means more time for qualifiers or fun events.

Sounds good to me. More matches are always fun. And so is fun stuff.

Our team has run into some trouble and we're wondering if anyone can help us out.
After running our 09 robot in 3 parades and several demos, replacing wheels, encoders, and code, she's finally broken down on us a lot earlier than we'd predicted. As it stands, she's in no shape to be run in another match without a lot of time and energy spent on repairs.
Team 578 has always loved going to the Ruckus every year, and we registered to do both the Vex and FRC events this year, but we're afraid we might have to pull out of FRC because of our robot woes.
Are there any teams that have a practice robot or spare robot they'd be willing to let our team borrow for the day, so that we could let new members get drive experience and enjoy the fun of an FRC competition? I realize this is kind of sudden, but we just decided last weekend that our robot was beyond repair.
If anybody is able to help us out in the spirit of Gracious Professionalism, our team would be incredibly thankful!

I did hear that the Spencerport team has an extra robot. They were willing to lend it to the Rookie Pittsford team for the ruckus. They probably would do the same for this case. Contact them.

I talked over the possibilities with my team advisors today, and they seemed interested and said they would start contacting teams tomorrow. We didn't get any robots secured as of yet.
