[FTC]: RobotC License Terms - Only good through May 1, 2010

Did you read the FTC license terms for RobotC when you installed????

This is a special license for FIRST Tech Challenge teams ONLY competiting in the 2009-2010 season.
This license is valid for installation on up to five (5) computers, to be used only for team use.
This license IS NOT VALID for installation or usage in a classroom environment.
This license will expire and no longer function on May 1st, 2010.
END USER SOFTWARE LICENSE

The license expiration on May 1st is a little bit much given that the following year’s kit is not typically available until September. Teams attend off season events, conduct training sessions, and prepare for the coming season during the months of May, June, July, and August. The license term should be for the full year and not expire on May 1.

I contacted them about this and while not explicitly stated it seemed that this was a beta released for FTC at present...not a fully licensable version. I'm sure a newer, better, less buggy version (oh...2.0 maybe?) will come out before this expires.

In the meantime, have fun with it!
