Can we run two non-shaft Keyangs off of a single Spike? Is this too much power for a Spike?

This is possible as the motors are very weak. Use the 30 amp fuse.

They're only rated for 20 amps, and they come with their own 20 amp fuse. Although this fuse is replaceable with an auto-reset fuse, I would not suggest replacing it with anything other than the 20 amp auto-reset fuse. We've burned out a few of them with very little effort at all, they're not one of those things that's rated for one value but can stand much higher.

As for wiring them to the same Spike, that depends on the Keyang motor ratings. I don't know how much current they draw, however, that kind of motor generally is very low-power in comparison to other types of motors (since the worm gear reduction has so much torque, they design the motor with less power as to not strip it out, and because it's not generally necessary).

If at all possible, check the specs. If not possible, my instinct says it should be okay. Just keep the 20 amp fuse somewhere in the line.

I might be unclear on the question, but what is a Keyang?

A Keyang motor is a motor that is included in the OCCRA Kit of Parts. It is a automotive seat motor, is fairly small, is a worm drive motor, and spins sorta fast. If you want to compare it to a FIRST KOP motor, I would have to go somewhere between a window motor (since it is a worm drive) and a RS545 with a BB transmission (like what we used for the suck on the FIRST robot if you recall) for speed, but a bit slower and less powerful. They aren't that powerful, but they have a double-ended squared hole so you can mount a shaft on either side. Thus, you can chain several together to get more torque. We use two on the suck roller on the front. Actually, there are two types of Keyangs: one has a square hole (the kind that we are talking about) and the other has a shaft. The shafted kind is an automotive liftgate motor, and is slower. We use one of those to extend our arm.
