Those the Core i5/i7 models? If so I can see them being really helpful.
Also with Maya this year as autodesk provided software the necessity for windows goes down (unless im mistaken and for some odd reason you can't use it for the awards) Running a 15" Macbook Pro myself, the new iMacs are incredible if not for just the 2560x1440 screen in the 27"er (I am looking at a 24" 1920x1200 for my own laptop) I just can't see myself getting one incase it were to keel over since I would have spent so much on a unusable screen, the ability to "displayport" into the screen may change that in the future. |
