You didn't get the job you wanted, you were offered a position that would allow you to stay involved and keep furthering the mission, and then you chose to air your dirty laundry here. I can't speak to whether your blacklisting was justified before, but by now it most certainly must be; I wouldn't want someone with such a demonstrated sense of entitlement holding a prominent position at my event.
