Go to Post What I’m trying to say is that you should not necessarily be looking to build the next “cool” thing, unless that’s your team’s goal and you’ve got the resources to finish it by ship date. - Bill Gold [more]

Re: Release Announcement for the MDL-BDC24 (Black Jaguar)

When you click on the link you will find that the DigiKey promotions both say they have expired.... and the luminary site indicates the new jaguar is being evaluated for use in the 2010 game.... not that it is approved for use for 2010 yet.

So the jury is still out on the Black Jaguar. [ MDL-BDC24 "Black Jaguar" revision ] (what else did we expect?)

The list of veteran/rookie equipment only indicates the Jaguar Speed Controller with no note of the model.

I believe it would be prudent for any team considering the purchase of the new model OR the old model to wait until the Kickoff to do so.

It would surprise all of us if the past year's model was not on the approved list BUT we must wait and see...

The promotional link is not up yet anyway.... today is Dec 16th, 2009

good luck!!
