Moving Disabled Robots

I have looked through the rules and have not found any section that lets the referees remove disabled robots. Do they have the ability to do this if it becomes necessary?

Re: Moving Disabled Robots

the refs can't and won't remove a disabled robot during a match.

a disabled robot becomes a roadblock.

Re: Moving Disabled Robots

Disabled robots always stay on the field until the end of a match. It's just far too dangerous for the referees to run in amongst five fully operational robots, pick up a (potentially tipped) robot, and then try to make it back out again without getting hit or interfering with the game. Plus matches are only 2 minutes and 15 seconds long, and it would probably take at least a minute to get the robot out.

Re: Moving Disabled Robots

While nobody is allowed onto the field during a match (standing at the side having soccer balls kicked at you will be scary enough), it is perfectly legal for another robot to move a disabled robot, regardless of which alliance it is on.
