Re: This is about as anti-gracious professionalism as you can get but....

Note: I assume here that the refs would give you a red card for unsportsmanship-like conduct for doing this, which I don't think is a very big assumption.

It would work well for your alliance partner who didn't do it, because their robot wouldn't be red-carded, and would still receive seeding points. The two robots that did the shutdown would lose their seeding points, thus making the match worthless for them.

In the eliminations, the red card would cause your alliance to lose the match.

So I don't think this tactic would work well.
