Invalid serial numbers?

I am trying to install the 2010 Software from the two DVD's in the kit. However, I am getting the following error in "NI Activation Wizard":

The following serial numbers are invalid or do not match their corresponding products. Double-click an entry to delete or correct it.
LabVIEW 8.6.1 First Robotics Competition <our serial #>
LabVIEW 8.6 PID Control Toolkit <our serial #>

Then I have two options:

[ ] I have corrected the serial numbers. Retry the activation request.
[ ] I need assistance with these serial numbers.

If I ask for assistance, I get directed to a number to call. Re-trying the request gives the same error. I am not planning on using LabVIEW, but instead Java. Do I need to install these? If so, how do I do it?

Thanks,
Kevin
