Re: Pro/Engineer To Inventor

If you make an account on the Autodesk Education Community portion for FIRST you should be able to access a set KOP models for Inventor.

it will automatically import PTC files if you try to open them in inventor, but they can't really be worked with- some parts are wireframe when imported, regardless of your view settings

Re: Pro/Engineer To Inventor

Hi,

The best suggestion is to access the KOP we have posted on the Autodesk FIRST student community. Let me know if you have any problems accessing the parts.

You can also email me directly at phil.dollan@autodesk.com.

yes, that is by far the best option, you just need to assemble the frame yourself, because the pre-assembled frame was done wrong

Re: Pro/Engineer To Inventor

joek,

The chassis was modeled according to the specifications given to us by the supplier. Please email me directly at phil.dollan@autodesk.com so we can review any issues you had with the assembly in the Kit of Parts.

Thanks,

Phil
