Idea for Tank tracks
Hello, first off thank you for your time and helping out on this. My class has been brain storming about the type of tires, steering, and how to handle the balls. The group I was in we came up with a tank steering with rubber tracks as the tires. This way we'd be able to get over the bumps with ease and manuever quickly. The robot would be of a smaller build because we believe we will need to be able to move quickly. What are the feasabilties of using a track system instead of wheels? Would rubber tracks solve that problem? Thanks for the help.
