**FIRST EMAIL**/Mentor Recognition/Q & A System Reminder/Payment Deadline/Team Update

Greetings Teams:

We understand that some mentors have encountered issues with TIMS that prevented them from accepting invitations to sign up for the Mentor Recognition program. The FRC Game Q & A System is now live! Teams are to use this system to ask questions about the FRC Game, and the questions that are posted will be addressed by the Game Design Committee. To learn more, click here: http://usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/...nt.aspx?id=456

Payments for Additional Regional Events and the Championship are due tomorrow, Friday 1/15/2010 – please confirm with FIRST Finance that you have the funding for the events that you are registered for if they are not paid at this time. If you do not have the funding, please email financetemp@usfirst.org as to your status. We do have a waitlist of teams wanting to go to the Championship, so if you do not have the funding to attend please let us know so that we can give another team the opportunity.

The deadline to submit Replacement Parts Requests via TIMS has passed. If you need to procure Kit of Parts components, please refer to the “Where to get more” document which is linked at the bottom of this page: http://usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/...nt.aspx?id=452

When modifications are needed for the 2010 Competition Manual <http://www.usfirst.org/community/frc/content.aspx?id=452> , the applicable section will be updated and the revision made. In order to communicate when changes are made, as well as explanations as needed, we will publish a “Team Update <http://www.usfirst.org/community/frc/content.aspx?id=450> ” and post it on the FIRST website twice a week-- on Tuesdays and Fridays. The updates are authored by the Game Design Committee (GDC) and are the official word from FRC.

Note: Email blasts will not be sent each time a Team Update is published. Teams are responsible for checking the site on the days indicated.
