Inventor Tips 2010???

Hey everyone a big hello from team 647!!! i was wondeing how far every one is on thir inventor models/mock ups and how many people you have dedicated to this??? if you hav any tips id love to know because i am the lead f inventor for the 3rd year now (only a junior lol) and it has become sort of a passion i guess you might say but unfortunatly i am the only one who really understands the program so if theres anyone else in my position id love for any tips on how you deal with it or if any ne may be able to make my life easier!!!

P.S. Cant wait to see all the vetrans and rookies at the houston and dallas regionals!!!

P.P.S my knowledge of th program is very advanced however time constraints and having to measure everything myself makes life very difficult so any is are much aprecited!!!!

We have 4 students on CAD.

The way we do it in the real world is to design the part and then build it, not the other way 'round.

yes i realize this sir but the fact is is we have a low budget on all of our works and dont have things like cnc or waterjet mills so we ar limited on making from scratch but the thing is is alot of parts we design we end up modifying to fit if it doesnt work out in the first place
