We need bolts!!!

We're in Australia and its fairly hard to get any imperial parts. Currently, we are trying to find the bolts, nuts, and washers that we need to mount components on our electrical board. Do you have any suggestions? We have looked in the KoP, but we don't see any of the screws that we need, however some of our parts have not arrived yet, so we are not certain. For you teams who have your KoP, can you help?

Thanks,
timytamy

Re: We need bolts!!!

Mounting hardware for most of the electronic components is not included in the KOP.

It may not be necessary to find the imperial hardware for mounting the electronics, you may find that the closest fitting metric hardware works just fine.

Power Distribution Board: 1/4" or M6
Analog Breakout: Hardware included in KOP to mount to cRIO
Digital Sidecar: #8 or M4
cRIO: #10 or M4
Jaguar: #8 or M4

Re: We need bolts!!!

timytamy,
We use tywraps to hold down our electronics. They are easy to cut when you need to replace or move something and they are not conductive. If you drop one into the robot, it won't kill anything like a dropped screw.

Re: We need bolts!!!

I was on a UK team last year, and we had the same problem. We ended up mail ordering from RS (similar to MSC) and other online/catalouge vendors.
